My artwork surveys the 4th dimension and transcendence, a visual emotion of light and tranquility - places without boundaries beyond our physical plane. I explore the synergies and tensions between biomorphic and geometric abstraction, the building blocks of the invisible. Each artwork is framed through a portal or window to visualize a slice of my 4th dimension landscape: imagination, dreams, cosmos, and internal mind map. I weave shape, color, gesture and light to embody the motion and transience of my invisible experiences.

My early artist influences were Jackson Pollock, Paul Klee and Georgia O’Keefe for their creative thought processes using 2 dimensional surfaces to represent another dimension of perception. Their tools were brushwork and color, symbols and mathematics, spirituality, light and earthly organisms. My primary current influence is Hilma af Klint for her life-long work in translating spirituality, universalism, and the beyond into abstract paintings. Other current influences are Andy Goldsworthy for exploring time and change, and Agnes Martin for her commitment to expressing the light of emptiness.
